If you love wildlife, raise your hand! Now keep it raised if you want an excuse to come to a free, fun, family friendly community event that will celebrate wildlife, while sharing opportunities and actions you can take to help Oregon’s endangered species!
On May 20th in honor of Endangered Species Day join us at Oregon Wild’s event, at Grant Park in NE Portland for a drop-in style day of celebration and action. Listen to amazing success stories from guest speakers about efforts to recover Oregon’s imperiled species (hello sea otters and wolves!), and pop by the many booths like coloring, art creation, postcard writing and much more! People of all ages are welcome and encouraged to celebrate and learn how they can engage in their own communities to ensure wildlife thrives.
Where: Grant Park, picnic shelter A (see a map here), NE Portland, OR
When: May 20th, 2023 from 10am-2pm with guest speakers around noon
Please RSVP for the community celebration and drop in at any time. We will also be handing out free native wildflower seeds while supplies last to help pollinators like buzzzy bees and beautiful butterflies! We hope to see you there!
