Join us for an online silent auction where art becomes a catalyst for change, raising awareness about the crucial mission to return sea otters to Oregon and their vital role in sustaining vibrant nearshore marine habitats. The fundraiser theme, Envisioning a Future with Sea Otters on the Oregon Coast, invited artists to create works that imagine a thriving population of sea otters along Oregon’s coast and the healthier, more resilient ecosystems that would follow.
The Silent Auction will be open from 12:00am PST on September 22nd, and will close at 6:00pm PST on September 28th.
All proceeds from the auction will directly support the Elakha Alliance and its efforts to restore Oregon’s sea otter population, helping to revive and protect our kelp forest marine ecosystems.
This fundraiser features 26 donated art pieces from 24 artists across the USA, including a custom-made ukulele, and 20 artworks from students at North Bend High School in OR. Explore each item to learn more about the artists and their inspiration for contributing to this cause.
